Hello fellow HeLLsGamers!

A long time ago HeLLsGamers use to host one of the most popular dust2 servers.  It's a pleasure to say that I'll be over seeing the revival of this.

Mission: To go back to our glory days where we host one of the most populated dust 2 servers on Counter Strike Source.

How: With the support of leadership and YOU (hg recruits, HG members and HG Vets), we will be the foundation with getting this server up and running again.  You will help recruit new players as well as set a good example for the community.

When:  All of February.

What's in it for you?  Prizes.  I will be giving away cash for the top 3.  We will also be giving free admin for those who help idle and repopulate the servers!  Don't worry if you can't spend all day on the servers, I will be doing random prize drawings or anyone who logs a certain amount of hours that month. (Join our community if you are not already to be able to win other prizes and giveaways)

Rules for all Servers

No Cheats, exploits or 3rd party tools that give you an unfair advantage over other players.
No ghosting.
Be respectful to everyone! A certain amount of smack-talk is ok, but do not be disrespectful.
No harassment, if someone tells you to stop trolling or talking smack, STOP.
Do not be racist or use racist terms! These servers are for everybody.
No useless spamming of the mic, text, or radio. That means no songs/soundbytes, especially if fellow players are complaining.
No recruiting or advertising for other clans in here.
Do not wear the -hg- / [HG] / HG | tag unless you are an HG member!
No name impersonation of ANYONE, especially not HG members.
No horrid/pornographic sprays (nothing below the belt).
If you are caught trying to crash or lag the server you will be permanently banned.

If you are caught doing any of this you can be disqualified for winning the prizes.

With everything going on this month, I'm very sorry to say that this event will be put off till a later time. I'll be honest, with work and vacation this month, I have haven't put in a lot of time with this. With that being said I'm going to now focus on weekend events with giveaways with the cash I would have been giving out for this current event. I hope you all understand and if you have any questions, please feel free to message me.

My apologies. I have been on a little vacation for the last 5 days with little focus on Dust2. There is still plenty of time to populate this. I'm planning an event next Sunday as well to help get some people on the server. Prizes separate from the main prize.

How are we supposed to play on this server when there is never anyone on it? You need 6 to have stats and I've never seen more than one other person on, and I've been connecting 1-3 times per dat for the past week. I've tried to help populate it by inviting all my friends and joining other servers with the IP as my name, I've even advertised in HG's servers saying to head over there but its still consistently empty.......

Gotta call strats quickly. D2 is one of the only maps that isn't sided in favor of Ts or CTs. CTs also have to worry about defusing a bomb if a T plants it

I remember playing on this server but getting upset that people mostly joined the CT's and then whenever T's had the slightest chance of winning they would camp in a corner or hide somewhere so they could "prevent" people from placing the bomb. The problem is that you only get 1 minute to kill the Ct's and place the bomb or else you lose. I was hoping perhaps that we could get a increase in time by about 30 seconds so T's could plan ahead instead of rushing in and hoping for the best when the teams are stacked and theres 5 afk's on the T team. We might need a admin on their every once in a while as well.

what i was trying to accomplish with that post was to hopefully get a few more people to come in and play. Just idling does not do much, ive seen many people enter the server then just leave right after when they realize 6 of the 8 players in the server are in spectate. i was not trying to put down the event or the lack of results, its only been 4 days..

Could you make it so dead players can only spectate their team? (Like 10man) Seems like people are gonna ghost constantly anyways, but it would atleast make it somewhat harder..
