Please, if you don't like the topic, skip it. Thanks. And no, this isn't a fucking goodbye. It's gonna take more to get me out of here than 10 of my friends (only people that I play with) leaving. This morning, I woke up to see the forums totally different. You know that list of active topics on the far right on top of the page? Well, it had goodbyes all over it. At first I thought it was a joke, but then I soon realised that all of them really left. Yeah sure, they will keep coming to TS3 and some servers, but the question is, how long will that last? They might just forget about HG as soon as tomorrow comes. I realised something else and I was kind of angry because of it. I've been here for 3 and a half years (not that I'm showing off for being here that long), I've seen people come and go, had friends in this community that left, but you know what? I stayed. I stayed because I liked this place. I stayed because I knew that more people like the ones before would come, and I would have a great time! And it turned out to be true. I was confused and angry when I saw how many people left because others started to leave. Yeah sure, it's your choice, but I think your time would've been better spent here than somewhere else. I was also deeply surprised by some vets that 'hopped on the goodbye bandwagon'. I'll admit, I didn't see that coming from them. A few days ago, someone posted a goodbye thread in which they claimed that a lot of people were thinking of leaving and it got a shitload of negative replies. Most of those replies were from the guys that left today. I am not saying that what you guys did was bad, I'm just trying to say that it all could've went out better. A few hours ago, a person whose online alias I will not give out, told me what it was all about. It was hard for me to believe it. There has or have been a few massive leaves and band wagon hops, but they were never this great (for the time I've been here). So, what am I going to do now? Pffft. The CS:GO division may be falling apart. If only I didn't have school and all that shit, I would've put some effort into making it better. I'm just gonna sit here and wait. As of now, I'll be waiting for the next batch of fresh new recruits Call me salty all you want, but I just wanted to make a point. Sorry for being too dramatic, I've got the worst fucking headache ever. Fuck these paragraph spaces. Fuck. I think I did overreact, but Idk, I was just giving my opinion on it s'all good. and some people are different. there was a time i left the community too as an advisor and came back the very next day lol. after being in a community so long emotions will get the best of you and you just resort to leaving because people aren't seeing what they're used to seeing and they don't like it. it's life.
