  1. i do not think spawning on a boss zombie is a good idea. do not forget that their is a boss zombie that can fly!
  2. if you use ragdolls for bodies ( best method) then you can disconect if you fall. becaue ragdolls dont take fall damage you can esentialy reconnect and be on the ground. every played submersion? their is that one trap that is a great example. it is not just one map, most are the same way. i am actualy willing to bet that you can use it to get glitched into certain areas on some maps even making it so zombies never get to you.
  3. point farming exploit is actualy something that can be fixed fairly easliy. on top of that is is very obvious when people use this kind of exploit where as using a disconect exploit you can never prove it was on purpose. i mean what are you going to use as proof? a vido of them disconnecting and then reconnecting?
  4. you can change the auto disconect timer yourself... mine is unlimited so as long as i do not hit disconnect it will reconnect eventualy. the main problem with the "body" system is it can easily be exploited. the other issue is it would take well over a week of hard work to pull off and that is if you know exactly what you are doing. then comes bug fixing and exceptions to prevent some exploits. that can take about a month total. in conclusion, is it doable? absolutely. can it be exploited? absolutely! is it useful? not much. worth it? no. TBH if you get disconnectd mid game blame your ISP or computer because that is the real problem unless the whole server crashes.

  8. feel free to quote me if you want. after all i said "suggestions" not "updates". i was talking about my suggestions which would only take less than 3 hours. hell, half of them would take 10 min. so bascily are you saying they are so busy that they can't spend 10 min?
  9. I submitted a probability based voting system idea a while back. The main idea was that if a map gets let’s say 70% of the votes it has a 70% chance of going there. So basically the higher the percent the more likely it is to be that map. I also suggested that we mute the mics and don’t let others see what other voted for to prevent persuasion from other players. As you can guess… no dice.
  10. cool beans man, i love objective maps. here are some ideas 1) you have to bring at least 3 of the 10 suitcases with you about half way through the map. 2) make a detour to the radio tower to make radio contact for a plane to pick you up. ( you have to fight your way back a bit after you radio for help) on a side note here are some things you should not forget because some mappers forget these. 1) multiple redeem spawn points. 2) add some NPCs to the map 3) add some free weapons to the spawn area and some along the way. 4) node the map, for gods sake node the damn map! 5) easter egg stuff. IDK, mabe a UFO flies by once or twice. 6) maybe a trap or two.
  11. asuming they code only for Gmod that's 4 servers 2 of which are up right now.... that's not a lot. asuming they code for all servers that's about 60 servers 40 of which are up right now. on other games i have been to the HG server and their was 0 major diferences from vanilla. if we remove all servers that do not recive anything other than an initial update to configure it for HG then we are left with about roughly 20 servers. now 10 servers per coder is tough, however considering how little the ZS server is updated considering it's practicaly the corner stone selling HG.... it should be updated more... curently about 17 servers can be considered active ( more than 10 players) meaning that if they code only for active servers that is roughly 9 servers they code for each. that is not a big deal considering only 5- 10 of them problably get updated. so we are left with 5 active per coder. their is no shortage of people willing to code for HG, HG just does not want to hire. I do not have to smack talk webflashing, i just speak the truth. i guess it shows how bad things are when speaking the truth is considerd smack talk.
  12. in the 6 months i played on HG i have submitted roughly 5-10 segestions. all of them would take less than 3 hours each to code, debugg and impliment. all were valid ideas, none implimented. i am not the only one, i do no recall anything new ever being added to the server via suggestion. ( note this does not include map list changes, bug fixes, or changes in settings.) so to conclude in a blunt fashion, they don't care.

  14. flesh creepers are part of the updated ZS. legaly HG cant update their server so..... even if they are alowed to do it they still have to remove the old spawn system and impliement a new zombie class. considering how "frequently" HG zs updates...... no chance in hell.
