that is what i was leaning towards to. i have even looked at ruger r1 and llama or even S&W 1911 a1

its just for collection. but i want a good one that wont have to break th piggy bank

IMHO, it boils down to training. even if you carry a .22 if you are well trained to shoot it can do the job. Let's just say ok you decide to get the .45 but if you don't train and get yourself and familiarize with the pistol, ( how to shoot, recoil, dry fire... not just pulling the trigger but holstering and unholstering, etc ) you carry, then my friend that firearm is just an expensive paper weight.

just as the topic says... im looking to purchase a 1911. any suggestions?

im having problems with my Logitech G502 Proteus Core Mouse when playing CSS my gun would go off just by shaking mouse its being difficult to use AWP cuz everytime i lift the mouse my gun fires desperately in need of advice
