It doesnt pay amazing, but the benefits are great and it supplies free housing for my wife and I so I can't complain. I also walk to work so the commute is great! Lots of good benefits, I get to take the van home, 401k, insurance, etc. The van in the pic is actually a coworker's, that's my bike. Previously I worked in Cyber Security for the Department of National Defense in Canada. I stopped for a while since my kids where little and now have a son that is playing. I joined the group to bond with my son. I have been in the PC helpdesk support career for 20 years now. I have several Certifications in A+, Network+, Meraki CMNO and I graduated last year over 40, with my Bachelors degree in IT networking. I feel that I am older and wiser but also slower than my son at times (which he always reminds me of). However, it is fun to share this with him and he pick up the flag and run with it.
