This is a simple 5 step tutorial for those who want to use sm_coloredname to its fullest potential (You must be a VIP+ And have it from !shop).

Step 1) Go To this website - http://www.strangepl...ient-generator/

Step 2) Fill in how many steps you need (The amount of characters in your in game name, for example, 'StyleZ' would require 6 steps because it is 6 letters long)

Step 3) Fiddle around with the colors you would like, you can add more if you want more than a 2 color gradient.

Step 4) Click 'Generate Gradient' and it will give you a code like this under 'Inline" #00DDFF #33CDCC #66BE99 #99AF66 #CCA032 #FF9100

Step 5) When in game, use the console command sm_coloredname followed by the codes with the # deleted, brackets added, and in quotation marks.

for example:

- sm_coloredname "#00DDFF #33CDCC #66BE99 #99AF66 #CCA032 #FF9100"

converts to

sm_coloredname "{00DDFF}S{33CDCC}t{66BE99}y{99AF66}l{CCA032}e{FF9100}Z"

And you're finished!

The only thing to beware of is the character limit, if your name is too long try to find a way to shorten the amount of colors youre using.

As an extra tip, you can type sm_colorednames to see all other players colorednames if you like something they've done!

do you have to have the hashtag stuff after every character in console, or does the console do it for you?

I think you might be a little confused here. Re-read the OP. the # means "start of color tag" so, #123456 is a color, you can then put character(s) of your name after it that you want to be that color. If you have questions, feel free to PM me or find me in TS.
