  1. Playing games a lot with Duy, Oscar, and Lumpymayo
  2. I haven't seen one in this forum (and being completely honest I haven't looked too hard either) so I'm just going to post this here - Crafted guns are very useful and seem to be very powerful in the right hands from my experience. I know about the Akimbo Uzis, but I was wondering if there were any more guns that could possibly be crafted. I've been using Akimbo a LOT recently and usually make a pretty decent profit so it'd be cool to know if there were more options available to me and other players. If there's already info, it's cool to just post a link or copy/paste the information in a reply. Thanks
  3. I used to play on this server a LOT, it was mainly to just hang with other people The game itself was pretty fun too I've basically retired now though, but maybe I'll come back some time
  4. Okay, so I might have fixed it. Uninstalled a shit ton of addons, like a bunch of custom maps that I don't play anymore, a lot of car addons, and various other things. Usually it takes me a long time to launch Garry's Mod and get to the main menu, and then it takes another long time to connect to this server, but the speed at which I've done both o those since the uninstalls has been significantly shortened. Seems to have worked, hope it stays this way.
  5. First off, I'm going to say this isn't a problem with my home wifi or even my computer. Those are fine, and normally when I'm in the server, my ping is decently low and I experience very few issues with low framerate or lag. However - one issue I am experiencing is connecting to the server and getting on. As some of you may know, I have quite a bit of time put into this server, meaning I should have basically all the maps and addons already in my system, so there should be no reason for me to have issues getting into the server quickly. But I do, which is why I'm starting this thread. Almost every time I connect, I have to go through the annoyingly slow process of "Downloading the map" and downloading some other stuff in the background. Once that's all done, it takes another ~20 seconds to send client info and actually get into the server. Of course, since I spent so long in the loading screen, by the time I'm properly connected, the countdown timer either has like 5 or 10 seconds left on it or we're already in Wave 1, so I'm basically always a default zombie. I wouldn't bring this up if it hadn't happened for the last several maps, and it's really starting to get annoying now. My main question is - Is there some kind of official HG map/addon pack for the server so I don't have to wait so long in the loading screens? I so, it'd be cool. If not, well maybe something like it could be put together and published to make it easier for everyone. Thanks.
  6. Weird ass video tbh The song itself is alright, but not really my thing, 6/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj6PIisJKAY Artist: Red Hot Chili Peppers Song: Warm Tape Album: By the Way Year: 2002
  7. How about everyone's favorite water/cancer-filled BUNGALOWS!!! No one ever complained about that map, it was really well balanced, the win/loss rate was really good, and everyone, especially the zombies loved it! #BringBackBungalows
  8. Breaking smaller cades and murdering those inside, or just a sneak attack. Havin a good time.
  9. Right then, that will be the build I get, once I get the money for it bafter a couple of paychecks. Thanks guys.
  10. -edit- Oops, last response posted twice
  11. inc's build slightly edited, and all of the parts are fully compatible. How is this one? http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GameboyRoberts/saved/KvrNnQ Also as a sidenote, do I need the superclocked video card/is it the best option for me?
  12. The GPU did come with a fan though, unless that wouldn't count as CPU cooler I'm (obviously) not overly knowledgeable when it comes to this type of thing, so it's probably unrelated. Overclocking is also not on my agenda. I realize it maximizes performance, but if what's listed is good, that don't be necessary.
  13. Do you know if there is a Sound Card built into the motherboard? Also, how does mine compare? Yours has all the necessary components and the prices are similar, so yours is something to consider if mine isn't quite enough.
  14. I've realized it's time for me to get a new PC, as the laptop I've had for a few years is starting to go down in performance, and I'd like to invest in a desktop for once. I also don't really have a preference on how nice the Case looks. It just needs to work. Here is my info 1. Budget Between $500-$750 2. Brand preferences No preference, I just want a good computer 3. What do you plan to do with the machine? Play Video Games, including Triple A titles - Namely Fallout 4 - and browse the internet. I don't want a Pc that can run Ultra settings on every game ever, I just want something in the middle that can run games well with decent graphics. 4. Is there a place where you'd like to get the parts from? Nowhere specific 5. What parts (if any) do you have already that you don't need upgraded? 6. Do you plan to overlock? 7. Do you have an OS (e.g. Windows) that you can use for this computer? Yes, Windows I've already got an idea together over at pcpartpicker, built by me with the help of my Animation/Pc Maintenance teacher. He knows my budget and what I want it to do, and he's put together this idea http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GameboyRoberts/saved/ZvJcCJ I just want some input on this, to see if anything needs editing, replacing, changing, etc. Thanks.
  15. I'm Ready I'm Ready I'm Ready Seriously though, it's looking great! Keep up the good work!
