Popular Post Homer Posted May 5, 2015 Popular Post Share Posted May 5, 2015 On behalf of the GMOD Division , I would like to announce that HG's Perp server will be coming back and it will be better than ever. Now that we have some experience running a Lite RP server in past years, some drama has died down, and with a revived active leadership ready to take on the task, we are going to revive the Perp server with new gameplay features, and a new Map! GMOD Leadership are working hard and making progress, we have a Trello setup with lists of bug, rule fixes, new features and more.. Once our new version is released, we plan to keep actively updating the server with fun and exciting content that the GMOD Leadership decides, with input from the Community. With that being said, I would like to say that GMOD Leadership as a whole decides on what is done with the server, so that means our coders ask that you do not contact them directly with your opinions of things to change or add to the server, they do not have the authority. Don't bug them; you will receive infractions. Use the official Suggestions / Bugs forum. We have built our new Perp version into the map: RP_Rockford (click to see the workshop map) The map creator nicely released the map source recently giving permission to edit, so that works out great as this is already an awesome map; we have the ability to make small edits to suit our gameplay if needed. In regards to any rumors about our version of Perp, I would like to clear a few things up. HG's version of Perp was purchased from a previous copyright owner of Perp, our version is in no way affiliated with Pulsar-Effect's version or anyone else's, or other leaked parties on the internet. This announcement thread was not derived from discussions about Perp recently on the forums. Coincidentally, the same day the GMOD Division had a planned meeting to discuss Perp, Magic posted a thread about Perp on the forums[**] The division is going to take the feedback and criticism that players expressed in Magic's thread and address them in our next release. Other information: The HG RP map and project was cancelled. Zombie Survival development will continue. (server is doing great) As of right now, you will still have your Perp characters in the new version. If there are any resets, we will let you know. We will always re-grant all past purchased Perp Cash back to you in the event of a reset that affects that. The current server will remain online, till its replaced with the new version.
