Artillery Posted January 4, 2017 Share Posted January 4, 2017 (edited) There won't be much of a difference in performance between Skylake and Kaby lake. There probably won't be too much of a difference between Skylake and Coffee Lake either, which is going to be Intel's second 14nm refinement. If anything, I would most likely wait until Cannon Lake is introduced as it's going to be the next big drop in die size - 10nm as opposed to the current 14nm.
