  • Make sure no other programs are running while your playing. Check task manager to view running programs and how much of your resources they use.
  • Update your graphics drivers & lower in-game video settings
  • Check for any malware
  • Connect your router to your PC via Ethernet, not a wireless card or USB.
  • Enable QoS if you haven't already (not all routers support this) this will prioritize internet traffic for when playing games online.

Or just decide that maybe its time for your PC to get an upgrade.

It could also always be server side, troubleshoot this by loading other games or connecting to different servers.
