I'm running Windows 10 Home 64bit. The disk that cam with it is a Windows 10 Pro 64Bit. Not sure if that would screw over the PC. Not to mention I don't even have a CD Reader.

 

it's really shouldn't do anything to it and u don't need a cd reader just a usb with atleast 8gb of storage just get the cd key from the disk and u can have the pro version which i also have now

To be completely honest I've never done anything like that before. Last time I did mess with my PC, it made me factory reset it. I'll probably make an appointment with the local PC people or something. Although I want to try all options that don't involve reinstalling Windows first.
