NOTE: I know alot of people may know it, but I'll like to give everyone a chance to figure it out.

NOTE: I DON'T show how to open console.

How to bind a key in Counter-Strike: Source

1# Go into Counter-Strike: Source.

2# You gonna type in console: bind <KEY> "say Hey I just binded a key!"

3# Now I will explain what it does. The <KEY> is what you find best to press. The say and "" is needed if you want it to go into the chat.

4# You can also do it without the say and "" like this: bind <KEY> kill now this will kill you if you press the binded key.

Well I hope this helped. Please PM me if I made an mistake. :D

I find yours hard to understand but it might be cause I am a hurr durr :3

Just put the following in console (an example)

bind t "say hello I'm a hurr durr"

when you press t in game, you'll say in general chat: hello I'm a hurr durr.

when you want to double bind something (for example when you want to have it say "peww peww :3" in chat, and have the server recognize it as if you were saying .ready, what you want to do is the following:

bind o "say peww peww:3; say .ready"

Make sure to bind to a key that isn't used already (for example r for reloading).

When I make binds for dumb stuff like

"drew: im not wearing underwear" I usually use my num pad cause I don't use those anyways and I don't want to risk losing the binds I have :)
