But when it comes to gaming, I can't exactly rely on it too much. I have very little experience when it comes to comparing how well certain parts are. Any suggestions on what to buy? Thanks. 1. Budget about $1-2k 2. Brand preferences Intel (I have some ideas on what to buy) Nvidia. Nothing too much but still gets the job done. 3. What do you plan to do with the machine? Gaming 4. Is there a place where you'd like to get the parts from? Anywhere online known to be trustworthy. 5. What parts (if any) do you have already that you don't need upgraded? None 6. Do you plan to overlock? Possibly, but I'll get assistance from my brother if so. 7. Do you have an OS (e.g. Windows) that you can use for this computer? No (I plan to build a desktop tho.
