I have skype as a backup, and I suppose my buddy that owns the property has a business hardline. And by hardline, I mean it's run through the cable company, so it's not PSTN. I do like the "safety" of having a hardline that can be tapped by emergency services or something like that, but it failed my cost/benefit analysis :P

 

Also, I was referring to PSTN (copper) lines, not VOIP. I'd never convert to VOIP due to ISP instability. Cox=Fail.
