PoorStar_Nutbag
About to invest a little more money in my PC, right now i am using: AMD-4300 quad core ASUS M5A97 motherboard GTX 760 GPU 600w power supply 2TB HDD. I am considering getting a AMD 8350 with the motherboard in this combo deal from newegg. http://www.newegg.co...t=Combo.1624053 Thoughts? is the power supply large enough? Good idea or waste of money? Edited May 11, 2014 by PooStar_Nutbag
BranHorse
PSU should be fine considering it is a good brand with 80 plus certification. Whats your budget?
PoorStar_Nutbag
No budget really but im not wanting to spend a whole lot more/less. Should i see a pretty big increase of performance? Might go with this as a MOBO though instead of the package deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131877

But if I were you I would go with an intel combo instead of the AMD. Do you live near a frys or microcenter? Also intels new chipset and cpus came out yesterday and the unlocked versions (if your into overclocking) should be released soon. Anyways the new i5 or i7 + http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128708 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157505 would work nicely. If you do not want to wait for an unlocked version since the performance increase really isnt that much then go with a i5 4670k or 4770k + either of the two above or a z87 chipset http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157369 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128617 My preference being the gigabyte board.
