If You're Having Ts Problems (Hanging, Not Connecting To Our Ts Etc.)

So today I thought I'd share with ye a little tip on getting your TS back online.

 

Unfortunately an exploit was discovered a few days ago that allows abusers to send base64 images to break a client's TS. When a TS client tries to read it, it can't handle it but it will not give any warning. It'll only hang just before it fully connects.

 

To fix this, you need to do the following.

 

1. Launch TS, but do not connect to a server.

 

2. Scroll over to the Settings tab, open it up and click options.

 

 

3. Click on security.

 

 

4. Click on clear cache, then make sure all the boxes are ticked. Click OK.

 

 

 

5. Connect to our servers again.

 

This is a temporary fix. It will be permanently fixed once 3.0.15 comes along.
