TheAtrocity Posted May 18, 2014 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Hey guys, not sure if this is actually a 'bug', but definitely a problem for me. The thing is, it all starts approximately a week ago. My Garry's Mod would freeze for 1 second, then crash and exit to desktop without ANY error message whatsoever. I'm not sure why what's causing my GMod to crash, but it does this quite frequently, every 30-50 minutes randomly. From what I can tell, it's NOT due to (what some people are telling me) opening up console. If it helps. here are my specs: (please tell me if you need more info! thanks!) Lenovo p500 series 750GB HDD 6GB RAM Dual Core 3rd gen i5 3230 @ 2.6GHz Intel ® 4000 (integrated graphics card) Windows 8 All drivers up to date And yes, I have verified the integrity of the game cache. Irontaco Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 Something that can help is to uninstall gmod, along with the gmod folder. Check your HL2, HL2:EP2, and CSS cache, dont keep many things open with gmod, etc etc. What i do with my crashes is to reopen gmod before each map begins (aka when the vote list appears i close out gmod then join the serv via friends list) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
