Glorpy
With Patch 4.10 being out for a week or so now I thought it would be a good idea to discuss what everyone thinks of the changes. My thoughts are more specifically aimed at the changes they made to ADC seeing as that is role I have been playing the most for years now. I honestly really like them, with the buffs to attack speed and the B.F. Sword damage increase I really feel ADC's will now be more of a menace. As for builds I really like BotRK into IE, I hear people doing IE rush first, but honestly if you do BotRK first and the other person does IE the person with the BotRK will get their item first and still have a timing window to do dragons, 2v2 skirmishes etc before the other can get their IE. Also the Randuins nerf was nice.
what1how
Wall of Text Beware: Randuins nerf was very needed . Tank Meta too strong. Although BT was nerfed, still very viable as a first item but now there's also the option of running IE first with Lifesteal being added to Dorans Blade. Botrk has been changed up, hard to say nerfed or buffed. Depends on the Champion. If you do Botrk first, it wouldn't be as effective damage wise against even the pieces of IE with dorans blade lifesteal and Attack Speed being added to rune pages especially with the Botrk Active being nerfed makes it a bit more difficult to 1v1 while %health damage has diminishing returns and IE does flat damage which is very effective early. Good nerf to the Lucian domination of before with BT nerf and may also allow other champs to come up and become usable again such as Cait and Tristana but could hold down champs like Vayne and Kog'maw who rush botrk and are squished easily in lane against flat damage champs like these. Its kind of a nerf to ADC's as it takes even more gold and time to become fully damage efficient but it allows ADC builds to become flexible and feel more like a threat later game. And btw, Botrk into IE wouldn't fully utilize the crit damage like a BT would. Best builds Ive seen so far from high level play. x2 Dorans, IE, PD or SS, LW, BT Dorans, Botrk, Triforce, PD/SS, LW x2 Dorans, IE or Tri, Tri or IE, LW, PD/SS But I dont like this patch. Botrk Active Nerf= Zed Nerf.

But I still really like botrk as an item because kiting feels so much more comfortable.
what1how
Yeah the other thing about the BT nerf is that Graves and Jinx aren't as good anymore. But I still really like botrk as an item because kiting feels so much more comfortable. Jinx is still pretty good if you rush IE since she is fairly auto attack dependent and the passive attack speed really helps. But yeah. Graves is even more screwed. StyleeZy
IMHO I hate this patch and this season generally.
what1how
IMHO I hate this patch and this season generally. Agreed. It's what happens with alot of games. It's made easier so that casual players get into it easier and Rito can make more money. Last season was so much better when champs like Zed and Vayne, although difficult to master, are worth it in the end with what they were able to do. Nowadays, Cait autoattacks or Ziggs bombs do even more damage than what they do and require no skill whatsoever. Hopefully Riot figures out what they're turning into and stop it before it goes farther. *Cough* Jungletimers *Cough* How about, instead of dumbing down the whole game, make it easier to get into with actual help for new players? Maybe like a tutorial that doesnt make Ashe buy thornmail, give new players free cheap champions, or just fix the stupid rune system. I dunno. But yeah. Rito pls.
