How To Not Get Autokicked On Minigames

This is a post concerning the instance on 1Team course maps where players are kicked when "a team is full".

 

I believe the issue has to do with the auto-team selection system, and that since that one team is full and the other team cannot be joined, it kicks the player.

 

Now, whether you'll be able to play the map or not is still something I'm looking into, however it will allow you to chill in spectator.

 

How to:

(1) Join the server and after the map loads click "Continue" as usual.

(2) Once you're redirected to the MotD DO NOT CLICK "OK", instead open up console using "~".

Note

: In order to activate console open your Options, go under "Game Settings", and in the first grouping of options set "Enable Developer Console" to Yes.

(3) Type into console the command "spectate" (without the quotes). This will place you into the spectator team.

(4) Click "Ok" on the MotD.

 

Voila, you're still on the server, despite being in spectator.

 

 

I'm still testing this out, but from what I've experienced this has worked. Hopefully this will help others as well.

I'm pretty sure there aren't enough spawn points on the map, but what do I know.

You could join and hit enter on the motd and spam 6 to go into spectate quickly, then join a team, that's how I do it.

this actually helped me on the MiniGames servers because i hate the glitch were it switches to 16 people allow to join then afterwards the rest of them get kicked to the main menu but if people saw this then A PLUS PLUS BECAUSE THIS HELPS ALOT
