XxwonderbredxX
Okay, I been looking at keyboards lately. I'm into Razor. I was wondering if they were any good. This is the one I'm looking at. http://www.razerzone.com/store/razer-blackwidow-ultimate I don't want to spend more than $150. Use will be for gaming and typing papers (sometimes). lol Any suggestions? Edited July 9, 2014 by XxwonderbredxX
Magic
I have the blackwidow ultimate, I enjoy it. Made the switch from non-mechanical to mechanical and overall I prefer mechanical more. It is all really preference. If you really care, you can research the different keys each keyboard has.
Wyn
I use the SteelSeries Apex Raw keyboard, very comfy with plenty of macros for mmo's. I dislike mechanical keyboards due to noise, even with brown switches. Doesn't help when gaming at 4am. http://steelseries.com/products/keyboards/steelseries-apex-raw-gaming-keyboard

Get whatever switch you want and put http://www.amazon.com/Cherry-Rubber-O-Ring-Switch-Dampeners/dp/B00AZQ2OF8# on them. Cherry blues are the only switches that the sounds actually comes from the keyswitch it self. Reds, browns and blacks however are only loud due to the sound it makes hitting the keyboard itself. These rings make the sound basically as quiet as a membrane keyboard with the quality of a mech switch. Though it may make it feel squishy, but it is still 100% better then membrane. @OP The new black widows are very nice. I like the new switches. Very satisfying will be grabbing one to replace my corsair k90 (led broke and numerous keys getting stuck (software i think)).

Dingletron
I regret that i bought my steelseries 6gv2, not because its mechanical but because i bought a "shity" mechanical one, if you want a GOOD mechanical one buy a WASD/Topre/Ducky/... XxwonderbredxX
Okay, after reading all of your posts, I came to my conclusion. I'll be going with the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate. Not just because some of you guys have it and like it, but because it seems like a good board. Plus the Deathstalker is $250, and I'm not paying that. Lol. Last question, for gaming do these gaming boards give you a better advantage because they keys respond right when you hit them? Vs. A regular office keyboard.
