Mx_Paladin -Asian-
Exactly what is a mini laptop, does it have any gaming capabilities? Just because there's this program or grant from the state for free tutoring and after like 20 hrs of it I get a free mini laptop such deal or no deal? How do they generally run, what uses. RetiredTacos
They are made strictly for office functions - emails, presentations, microsoft office, internet browsing. They have high battery life as they are not very powerful. Definitely would not play games (maybe starcraft and runescape <--fag )

Wingless
Well, I'm typing this from my netbook. It's pretty much good enough to do just that - play music, chat on GTalk and screw around on the net. Most of them run Atoms or Athlon 64s, which clock about 1.6 and 1.2, respectively, have a few (at most) gigs of ram, and at best, 720p video playback capabilities. All things considered, I pretty much tier my devices at Android phone > Netbook > high powered desktop computer, depending on what I need to do. I'm happy with mine, and it cost me about 340 dollars.
