So just a little update:

I went to the doctor, they ran a couple tests and did find that I was positive for the H1N1 strain of influenza.

Luckily enough, she said I am really lucky we caught it early because it will be easier to take out.

They put me on some medication while I was there, something through IV. Then the gave me a perscription for Tami-Flu.

They said all is well as long as I dont get any complications, which is unlikely but with my asthma, who knows.

Thanks for your support everyone :]

Unless you have HIV or your immune system is otherwise compromised, you'll be fine. The reason why our age group is prime is because our group has a higher affinity to HIV due to increased sexual activity. But really, a good regimen of theraflu (or whatever your doctor prescribes) will have you back and pwning in no time.

Who has increased sexual activity?

Oh wait. You weren't talking about my age group, were you?

Where can I find a doctor that doesn't have problems with sticking needles in my arms? Because I need one. lol.

Corticosteriods, chem-12 panels, I don't give a damn, my insurance covers them, and it beats the hell out of the alternative for diagnosis and treatment.

I'm kind of tired of kid gloves medicine. Especially when I keep up with the prognosis. Off topic rant, kind of.

But yeah, congrats on not dying and all :P
