virtual machines...as long as you have the software, and a rig that has enough ram, you can load up some virtual machines in windows virtual server (free) and administer them to your heart's cotent.

Elaborating on what Monkey is talking about, you can also do something like this.

 

Depends on what you have available to you as far as media/licenses/etc. goes.

 

That is a great idea...but...that version required Hyper V...his machine is most likely doesn't have this.

 

You can also use Virtual PC...which would be better for you.

Yeah, virtual PC works just fine for most applications of virtual computing. You just need to deal with getting a install media of some sort. Be it a trial or... whatever >.>

Would you have preferred me say processor instead of this?

 

If he'll post his processor, we can tell him if it supports virtualization. On top of that, he will need an x64 operating system (in this case it actually calls for Windows Server 2008 x64).
