Zs_Dryfield Error Volvo Pls Fix

So yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa dryfield has errors all ogre the place and we need great king gaben the first or shrek 2 halp.

 

At first i thought it was an issue with Visleafs sence this looks like where they would be built

then I looked in console and saw all deeeeezzz errror420s

 

 

Error: Material "maps/zs_dryfield_v3/wood/wood3_dio_-492_-716_88" uses unknown shader "patch"

Failed to load $include VMT file (materials/WOOD/WOOD3_DIO.vmt)

 

 

So what its sayn here is dat da .vmt file wasnt packed/or made correctly and doesnt correspond with the .vtf, therefore the texture isnt loading and its exposin da void 4 everyjuan 2 c. It could be the displacements that are causin dis sheet 2.

Also now im not sure if this error is making the visleafs not work or something like that because I get less fps on his map then I do on Dayz at ultra settings. Just something to keep inmind.

 

Skyms pls fix ur sheet pls, pls pls bby cakes pls?

hg yuh dun fukt up dis map was decompiled, theres a checkerboard texture where author is supposed to be. Decompiled maps NEVER compile correctly, they will always cause errors.

 

plus a super dank mememaster42 fedora founder found this dank leak in da map, as Mr. Mackey once said " hmm leaks are bad... mkay"

OK, a double post however;

 

It really looks like this map leaked during compiling and was never properly fixed. Area portals not working properly is the biggest sign of this. Leaks and holes in the map that really shouldn't be there is also another good indication.

 

I really don't know how this wasn't caught in testing.

 

Advise removing the map until a fix is released for it.

 

EDIT : Actually that might or might not be the case. I've got to dig even deeper with this map.

Whoa alrighty.

 

There's no leak in the map and when people were play testing no one mentioned intense lag so not sure what that is about.

 

I have replaced the textures, I didn't realise they were custom.

 

Should have the fix out shortly.

 

 

Actually there are some portal errors which may be causing lag issues, I have fixed these also.
