Caligstar Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 (edited) Hey all, My SB6141 SURFboard eXtreme Cable Modem died last night only after three months of service. That is ridiculous! First, I contacted Comcast to make sure it wasn't an issue on their end, but they actually discovered that my modem was no longer responding to their signals. So, I went on to call Arris (make of my model modem) to utilize my warranty and they are sending me out a brand new unit today - however, I have to pay return shipping for the bricked model . It is a Wireless modem and Gigabit Router built into one. 8 Months in and no problems.
