Champ Kind Posted February 20, 2015 Share Posted February 20, 2015 (Reuters) - The San Diego Chargers and Oakland Raiders have joined forces to build an NFL Stadium the teams can share in the Los Angeles area, the teams announced on Thursday. The plan is to build a $1.7 billion NFL Stadium in Carson, California, though both sides say they remain committed to exploring stadium options in their current cities. Both teams have kept the NFL owners' committee on Los Angeles, and the Commissioner, fully informed about their joint efforts. Los Angeles has not had an NFL team since 1995 when the Rams left for St. Louis and the Raiders departed for Oakland.
