Earbuds are now 10 keys each with cheaper listings available in backpack.tf. Is this the end of earbuds as currency?

 

Although tempting to buy earbuds as an investment, the price seems to be ever decreasing:

Seems it still at the same price it was before it gained huge value. To me it's just crashing down in response to keys becoming ever more expensive in terms of refined metals. It never did dip in line with the rest of the market; in fact it just kept getting more expensive.

 

It's not the first time it's happened to the buds, but I'd keep an eye on it to see if it slips below the Bills.

Back in the days, 2.33 ref was the common price for a key. I had this guy that sold me keys for 2 ref a pop though. Was a good life but when keys rose to 4.66 ref, I just quit trading then TF2 completely.
