Dr. Hfuhruhurr
Are duck-shoot scripts allowed on DM servers?
HyperActive
I'm going to go ahead and say no, even though it's nothing big, it's still an advantage.
DeathShot
Define script. If its just binding a key to crouch and shoot simultaneously, then I don't see an issue with it. Ex: bind mouse 1 "fire;crouch" , or something to that extent, is fine IMO.
Dr. Hfuhruhurr
From what I can see of the player who sometimes activates it, every time he takes a shot, he crouches then stands. It's not an issue with a semi-automatic weapon, but when going full auto -- on say, an AK-47 -- he jerks up and down at the same rate as the weapon bolt opens and closes. While not terrible, it does make trying to get a deliberate headshot on him pretty much impossible. It's also very visually disconcerting. It's not a big deal, I was just curious what the script limitations are. And I don't want to tell him that he can't use it on HG servers if it's actually aceptable. Err on the side of caution, and all that. If I see it again, I'll try to grab a demo and you can see what I'm talking about.
