Champ Kind Posted April 10, 2015 Share Posted April 10, 2015 Pittsburgh Steelers great Troy Polamalu has decided to retire after a dozen National Football League seasons as one of the premier safeties in the league, US media reported Thursday night. The news was first reported by the Uniontown Herald-Standard newspaper. Polamalu, 34, played his entire career with the Steelers after they selected him with the 16th overall pick in the 2003 draft. The former USC college star helped the Steelers win two Super Bowls and finished with 32 interceptions, 14 forced fumbles, 12 sacks and five defensive touchdowns.
