Family: Lost But Not Forgotten

I know it's not going to be a happy post. Last Tuesday, I found out my 10 year old golden retriever appropriately named Goldie had stomach cancer. She's been doing well until today when I found out she had a limp. I'm pretty sure she just bruised it by hitting it on something, but it wouldn't be the first time I've lost a loved one as I'm sure some of you have dealt with this. For those of you who have, you have my sympathy. I've lost all my grandparents to everything from a heart attack to Alzheimer's and old age. The reason I make this post is not for sympathy for myself, but to ask if anyone else has been through this whether it be a pet or loved one. Anyone who shares their thoughts has my sympathy... Because if my dog doesn't eat tonight and walk better by the end of today... Then the worst will become of her. And to those of you who read this, thank you for reading and I hope you're having a better day than I am.

Sorry to hear that; I personally lost both my grandparents on my dad's side 6 years ago in a gang-related shooting, and I recently lost my uncle in a drug-related homicide. So ya I feel you, hope it turns out alright.
