Big J
I know it's not going to be a happy post. Last Tuesday, I found out my 10 year old golden retriever appropriately named Goldie had stomach cancer. She's been doing well until today when I found out she had a limp. I'm pretty sure she just bruised it by hitting it on something, but it wouldn't be the first time I've lost a loved one as I'm sure some of you have dealt with this. For those of you who have, you have my sympathy. I've lost all my grandparents to everything from a heart attack to Alzheimer's and old age. The reason I make this post is not for sympathy for myself, but to ask if anyone else has been through this whether it be a pet or loved one. Anyone who shares their thoughts has my sympathy... Because if my dog doesn't eat tonight and walk better by the end of today... Then the worst will become of her. And to those of you who read this, thank you for reading and I hope you're having a better day than I am.
TestingM
I'm sorry to hear that. We lost two of the family dogs to cancer. I understand how Golden's can become part of the family and it's like losing a brother or sister when they're no longer around. I hope that the swelling goes down and she's ok tomorrow. Ace_0025
Sorry to hear that; I personally lost both my grandparents on my dad's side 6 years ago in a gang-related shooting, and I recently lost my uncle in a drug-related homicide. So ya I feel you, hope it turns out alright. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y983TDjoglQ Just coping with music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8DtD7BW6Ek Awesome Chillstep to relax yourself^ Edited June 22, 2015 by Ace_0025
Big J
On the plus side, she was up and walking around and able to walk around on all fours with no issue. So she's getting some use back in her left front leg.
KarmaOfPain
Sorry to hear that, I know how painful it can be when losing a loved one. Hopefully your dog will get better!

Paul :)
That is very unfortunate. It is always losing someone that you love. My dog went blind, suddenly, a few months ago, and it's been a hard transition. Best of luck to your dog. Big J
Thanks. She's got little to no energy, but she's doing ok... I guess. It's hard to tell anymore :/
