Champ Kind Posted June 24, 2015 Share Posted June 24, 2015 The winner of this year's British Open will collect more than £1 million ($1.6m, 1.4m euros) for the first time in the tournament's history, organisers the R&A announced on Wednesday. The overall prize fund for the game's oldest major championship has increased £900,000 to £6.3 million, with the champion receiving £1.15 million.
