Champ Kind Posted August 12, 2015 Share Posted August 12, 2015 The National Football League began meeting with a federal judge on Wednesday to provide a closed-door update on the status of settlement talks with the players union in their dispute over New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's "Deflategate" suspension. U.S. District Judge Richard Berman in Manhattan was expected to meet with the union following his meeting with the NFL. Berman on Tuesday had ordered the private briefings ahead of a previously scheduled hearing in litigation that could determine whether Brady's ban is upheld.
