Lt. Awesome
I didn't know whitch section to put this in, so if it's wrong I'm sorry. I just got this desktop i use with my laptop, i just use it for pics and crap like that, but it can be used on your computer if you want. It's called BumpTop. this video pretty much explains it all and gives the link in description for download: it lets you organize stuff, put in piles, sort it on a grid, and its 3d! oh yeah... if you want to recycle something with and your recycle bin is aaaallll the way on the other side of your moniter, just hold down the icon, and flick it into the direction of the bin.(i did this for about 2 hours today) you can also pin stuff on the wall of the monitor, i think the video shows all. its about 232,000 kb/s so, non gaming computer or you can just exit it in the system bar and start it again by clicking the icon. Yea, i just wanted to share with you guys seeing as i think it's pretty neat P.S. Embedding doesn't work well with me :\ P.P.S. the video is an older version/pro one Edited October 9, 2009 by Lt. Slazenger
Bumptop is okay but becomes annoying after frequent use. I switched from bumptop to fences (see below). Fences allows for completely custom organization of your icons by grouping. It's awesome. And no, the image below is not my desktop. =P http://www.stardock.com/products/fences/
CubanCarlos
i have pro, but didnt buy it ^.^ also, one thing i noticed, whenever you execute a game that has the main screen that pops up, (the one where you choose to play, uninstall, install, etc.) it does some weird flashing thing and can get annoying as hell.... as for Fence, ill try it out, it looks pretty convenient, but ill sure miss the 3d-ness of bumptop..
