Champ Kind Posted November 1, 2015 Share Posted November 1, 2015 Edinson Volquez, told of his father's death after pitching the World Series opener, is back from the funeral and hopes to end the Kansas City Royals' 30-year title drought. The 32-year-old Dominican right-hander will start Sunday for the Royals, who seized a 3-1 lead in Major League Baseball's best-of-seven final by defeating the New York Mets 5-3 Saturday.
