Removing Nails

The Gaming Limit

Yes I know Garry's mod has had a update and your busy fixing things, however I just wanted to make a suggestion. Is then in any way that you could remove nails when you are phasing though props, for example when you are making a cade and you misplaced something and you try to remove the nail but you can't as all the other props are in the way and you dont want to unail as your teammates shout 'Ban' in chat. I thought it would be a feature to add to the server.

Ignoring the argument whether this would be overpowered, I would like this to happen; as some people are simply not cooperating, and votezlist is never a thing.

However I think this makes cading a bit too easy; as you can easily replace/extract props in the very front that are out of the carpenters' reach.

So ultimately I think this suggestion is awesome, but really shouldn't happen.

eh well the updated version of ZS makes it so pressing R on the relevant prop unnails the latest nail fixed on it, so it's very easy to fix your cades.

However that's not to say that also has its problems; sometimes I will accidentally unnail a critical prop when trying to unnail another problematic prop, so I think this feature is pretty cool. Most people can't cade anyways so this feature would basically only benefit anyone better than half decent at cading and wish to fine-tune their cade.

heh while they can always go offline and improve themselves with the existing system like everybody are saying all the time.

And by overpowered, I mean this will widely increase the durability of a cade; considering people can add shit tonnes of props onto a cade that are out of reach (eg. mini minefield in front of a cade), and when the front props are about the break, people can just phase to the front, unnail and take the prop to the back, repair and plug them back onto the cade.

The only good cade in the world should be those with good props placements, and are mostly if not all reachable to the carpenters without phasing.
