Lumpymayo
I think the Banned for Life return should be removed from the worth menu. The vast majority of people that select the banned for life perk pick it so they can get a free arsenal and resupply from the worth menu. It is a very common tactic people are using to get a high profit while contributing almost nothing to the team. It results in the person getting the most profit, while anti afking behind the main cade. They literally just stand there for 30 minutes and make the most profit. No repairing, healing, cading, or shooting but still they get the most profit because they were the quickest to place down both crates. I have over a thousand hours on the server and I never see anyone use the perk for anything other than anti afk crate whoring.
Dreamy
You realize the problem is the "anti-afking" and not the return itself right? It's like saying "Remove the boomstick because people use it to jump over unfair spots". I use the banned for life to get buff+arsenal+hammer. I love this return and I don't think it should be removed.
TheAtrocity
People are so concentrated on the problem of anti-afk, which isn't our intended meaning. Peole can easily "bypass" the anti-afk by actually being attentive in game but not actually doing anything (as lumpy stated above). People will look around, move, crouch/jump and in general survey the scene while looking around and typing/chatting but not actually do anything to contribute to the team. This isn't a problem of anti-afk. This is a problem of people not doing anything towards the team in any meaningful way. Buying a revolver and using it for wave 5 or picking up worth weapons and using them until the ammo runs out is not meaningful. So yes, anti-afk'ers do it, but you're not focusing on the main problem. Fixing the afk system will help a tiny bit, I concede, but that will force people to stay off youtube a bit longer and watch the game more...so we're back to square one. Again. Nibblewerfer
Lettuce Edit: Keeping lettuce for posterity, I was ordering food. Anyway I support what has been said on this topic and belive that th I s trait isn't a problem, mostly because the points required to bring an arsenal and resupply crate can be aquire through a combination of other negative traits. I guess the problem with this is that it GUARANTEES a profit. Edited December 20, 2015 by Nibblewerfer
Valjean
I don't use banned for life for my Resupply/Arsenal duo. I do use banned for life if I want a Resupply/Medkit/Arsenal trio. But its ineffective.

Removing such an amazing return won't fix it either
