Champ Kind Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 The Los Angeles Dodgers signed an eight-year contract with Japanese right-hander Kenta Maeda on Thursday as the team continues to fill the void left by the departure of Zack Greinke. Maeda, a starting pitcher, has registered a record of 97-67 and a 2.39 earned-run average since he joined the Hiroshima Carp of the Japan Central League in 2008. "We are excited to be bringing Kenta Maeda into the Dodger organization," Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman said in a statement.
