Im thinking 200x series, best buy has a great deal on nvida 285 1 gig, about $200 compared to $350 on newegg

 

What would you guys suggest?

 

I will need a new power supply, if you can please also link a power supply compatible with a card i should get ^.^

 

 

Note: I plan to sli/crossfire in the future

285 is a waste of $ unless you really are getting it for 200$, then fuck yeah its worth it.

 

The ATi 5850 is the 285 equivalent, its 260$ everyday. But if you dont have a crossfire board, guess you'll have to stick with nvidia.

 

What is the rest of your system look like? Not sure how much power you need...

Im going to use the vidc ard now on my shit computer

 

and slowly build a new machine, I just want the vid card first so i can use it now

 

What are your computer specs?

The videocard will help a lot with some video games, but not css.

 

I am able to run Crysis with high settings better than I can CSS.

because css is a game based on your cpu, so the better cpu you have, the higher fps. the video card helps a lil.
