For the lag i will remove the rain but if there are 80 players with free minigun or grim this is completely normal also the lag it's just the beginning after the elevator there are no more lag because people die and we are inside building

I think on the next version of rescape all of the guitar music should be removed. I feel that it does not add to the atmosphere of the map. I recommend replacing all of the music on rescape with music from the Half-Life 2 sound track. The HL2 soundtrack will be much more appropriate.

So we play around 10 time rescape v4b and I concluded this map still easy i will release final version of this map soon for balanced again and i think it will be good for a good year.

i work since 5 days for the next version (v5) if you have any suggestion it is now after it's over

 

Sorry to release version every week but this map is like a video game, the beginning can be difficult to balanced.

The more compliment I got it is for the music, people like it I can not change and I can not put more music I have more space in the map to put other music.

Sorry for this little update, but it is very important i fixed some issues from props black mesa, some people that was losing FPS.

I do my best to be this map perfect I do not know how to explain what I have did exactly but its took me 2 full days for fix.

 

Use v5b for now (v6 its for other serveur without points saving its more easy)

I used rescape_v6 for make rescape v5b so v5b there are no difficult in the map, fortunately it was not added sorry for inconvenience again. I upload new version v5b directly in bz2 its more fast i dont knows why i not did this before.

You actually won? Man, I'm cheesed that I missed it.

 

I won this map for the first time as of last night

 

Yeah I think without me free boomstick we would never have won, i will see next time with 80 peoples without free i never try yet, i always play this map with 30 people lol

So we play rescapé v5b 55 time with 13% rate win, i know there will be a big update for new maps in hg zs I would like again to make a final new version because the end of this map is completely useless (pointsfarming + impossible for zombie) I have a radically solution to fix it. Promised it will be the latest version

 

 

At the same time I will make some changes to make the map again a bit more hard

Also there are hole after spawn human, people can troll with arsenal

Also we need disable power at a time, nobody go disable because it's dangerous so human can delay, i fix this too

 

If you want to tell me something's wrong tell me i will see what i can do

I maybe abused on the difficulty of the end, but the most important thing is to have fun, win the map is not necessary, if we look vertigo at the end you are sometimes forced to exploit for win

This system is unique and can bring more hard for the human if the zombie is a good player

Let me explain, when you go on this orb fast zombie for example so you are fast zombie every the map

it works for a single person, so you have to be take quickly in zombie before another player take before you

Its work like zombie escape map with material when you take it you have message on the tchat to prevent

Edits: if you change zombie so you lost your permanent zombie

 

There are:

 

- 1 poison zombie

- 2 fast zombie

- 2 wraith

 

 

Graphics

 

- Add new texture front black mesa and remake some room

- Add smoke particle when we break board its more realist

I forgot to say v5c use anti_exploit in elevator part, you know since 3 months there are an exploit for everyone through the elevator like vertigo but in rescapé there are no water down if someone do this exploit everyone is dead, not many people know this exploit but its very easy, hoping for this to be fixed soon..

 

A teleporter was added below the elevator in case someone use exploit like every map with elevator, where everyone go through the elevator. If you fall down the hole you get teleported in the room right inside an player clip for avoid damage caused by fall , the teleporter and player clip disappear when the elevator is all the way up

I am done with this map, here the ultimate version of rescape i cant do more hard (an advice buy medic or die)

Remove 2 minutes of the map (around 40min now)

3 room balanced and 2 hallways

Poison zombie is unlocked when objectif start

Zombine unlocked at train part

Add 9 spots bonemesh (single)

Add many anti-aegis spot (like hallway)

Props unbreakable by human at the restaurant part

Armory removed

All free item removed (ammo, heal, aegis)

Ok ok ok ok, I have not imagined the difficulty of this last version now i found the right balance, sorry for the inconveniences.

With 5 aegis is still impossible this version must have 20 aegis

Fixed exploit bonemesh permanent

Remove 3 spot bonemesh

Moved 1 spawn zombie too close from human

Set intermission 1.20 to 0.45sec

Put back same props like v5c

All porps for cade is is now unbreakable by human

Add 2 free station heal

Removed 1 minute of the map

Minor fix difficult to explain which can make this map a "bit" more easier
