Hey Guys Looking For Some Help...

Recommended Posts

(I know this might not be the place but, I just want to see if you guys have any advice.) Hey guys. I wanted to see if anyone knows about how to fix my CSGO. Basically what happens is I go to steam, click play to start the game, my steam says I'm playing CSGO, and then the game never launches. Everytime I start my CSGO this happens. This is a serious post so if you have any actual advice to helping me fix this issue so I could play again that would be great. Thanks guys.

I know it's basic but have you tried to re-install the game? You might be missing a game file.

have u tried resetting ur pc to a previous date?

idk how dat function is called in english, but u can reset ur pc to how it was a couple days weeks earlier.

System restore? That could work. Hopefully his PC made a checkpoint for that.

What optical was trying to say, go to Control Panel and find System restore. If it isn't there, Google that motherfucker and see how to use it.

Credit to optical for the idea :)

I have rolled back a few updates, but nothing good yet. I think I might need to rollback more of them.

So after doing a bunch of the things you guys had said, nothing work. I decided to do a little more research and found this: Go to search, type in "msconfig", press enter, press the "Services" tab, press the "Service" heading at the top of the list, scroll down and deselect "Windows Management Instrumentation", press OK and restart your computer.

This worked for me. Not sure if what you guys recommended had something to do with it either but, my csgo now works. If anyone has this issue, do the thing I said above and try this: 1. Right click CS:GO.exe in folder

2. Go to properties

3. Go to Compatibility

4. Click "Change Settings for all users"

5. Change it to Windows 7 & check off run as admin

6. Verify integrity of game cache through Steam Library

7. Restart computer

8. Let first time set up & Play

Thanks guys for all of the help I really appreciate it. If someone could close this thread because it is no longer needed, that would be fantastic. Thanks again everyone.
