Change Drug Dealer Back

I feel like allowing the drug dealer to be able to sell all the time takes out strategical factors and role playing factors as well. One being, as organization members leave to sell a certain drug, a raid would be set up while a few of the org members have left, allowing the raiding party a possible advantage.

The drug dealer is economy based. If he has purchased too much of one drug in a time period then he won't purchase more.

 

I feel that it'd be better to understand the dynamics involved around the drug dealer.

 

The idea is generally everyone loves growing weed or cocaine. Because they are easy to do and can get quite a bit of profit from the drug dealer. However, in this new system it is encouraging people to explore making the other drugs.

Im guessing the other drugs are being allowed to be made later at some point with this statement? (current drugs that you can grow/make is weed, coke, and meth)

He doesn't. He starts with 1mil. And replenishes when he "sells" the drugs he bought (currently emulated every 5 minutes).

Yeah, Kigen I agree with what the economy system brings, but I just feel with the current lack of drugs (3) we can only sell. Meth is very dangerous and is usually grown in industrial. I feel that the old system would be appropriate for the time being until shrooms are fixed, and maybe a way to make lcd? Idk, but I do really like the idea of people exploring new drugs, and such with the economy system. I just think it may be a bit early for it to be implemented.

 

Blank brings up a good point, I can't remember how many times "/advert DD is selling coke" has initiated some of the most fun raids of my life. The old system did provide an entire different aspect to the game of worrying about defending your base, or planning to raid another base while some are gone selling their drugs.

 

Overall I think it's too early, but definitely an amazing thing to incorporate later. Just my opinions.

 

Also drug dealer does sometimes buy like 120 coke for 6k, a lot of people have been mentioning it in OOC quite frequently. Idk if it's cause he ran out of money, or what, but that has happened.

Now we have less way to make money in perp. More raiders will show up and it'll scare away new players as other people will benefit more from raiding then growing. Please bring back the old DRUG DEALER!

+1 change it back to what it used to be. Growing is pretty much useless now, you can go be mayor and get more, which is dumb. Doing something against the law should pay more than doing something legal like getting a government job
