[reviewed thank you] Flashlight warrior abuse

Im pretty regular around your d2 server, i love the server, think its great, have great fun there, until flashlight decided he wanted to start abusing his admin.

 

Having been an admin on a 18server team for the past 5ish years, i do have some credability when i say he was abusing admin.

 

Here is the print out of text chat:

flashlight warrior : lemme show you this

Disconnect: Kicked by administrator.

flashlight warrior : ummm no it's not

flashlight warrior : yes, he was

flashlight warrior : it's on the kick reason

I can clearly see my side has no merit due to lack of voice, here is what was said:

 

 

 

 

"Hey flashlight why are you standing in front of me constantly blocking my view"

His text was "Ummmm ok"

I proceded to say "You were doing like this" and stood in front of him, his responce:

Disconnect: Kicked by administrator.

Disconnect: Kicked by administrator.

 

When i returned into the server i said in voice, why are you abusing admin flashlight, he responded:

"Sure"

I responded "Thats admin abuse"

He responded "Ummm no its not "

I responded "How he was doing nothing wrong(inplying me cause he thought i was someone else i suppose)

He responded "Yes he was "

ME: "What did he do to get kicked then, what was the rule he broke?"

Flashlight: "disobeying an admin"

flashlight warrior : it's on the kick reason

Me: I am going to report you for admin abuse.

flashlight warrior : report me for nothing, ok have fun

Me: No, not for nothing, you clearly abused admin, lots of ppl watched it.

flashlight warrior : hey watch this

I know its long to read, but i bug you to read this chat.

This isnt the first time i have seen him get admin borderline abusive.

Not to sound rude, but you almost sounded annoying, I might have kicked you too.

 

There is no reason to keep telling the admin he is abusing, and you are going to report him.

Just report them.

 

But you need proof to get action in these cases.

As for the topic, just get a demo or screenshot next time.

 

No need to harass other admins or players that are causing problems.

Just get a demo/SS and come let us know. We will trust you more when you show us their one-sided abuse.

You can always idle our vent server too, and have much faster responses to abuse.
