UnlockingDegree
2.) Remove whos voted for what map, and what % of the votes a map has. People are always spamming on the mic to vote for a map, and then everyone just bandwagons on and picks is without even knowing what map it is. They dont even need to spam the mic, they just see that most people are voting for this map, so they pick it as well aimlessly. I agree with this personally

Fir3w411
2.) Remove whos voted for what map, and what % of the votes a map has. People are always spamming on the mic to vote for a map, and then everyone just bandwagons on and picks is without even knowing what map it is. They dont even need to spam the mic, they just see that most people are voting for this map, so they pick it as well aimlessly. 3.) voice/chat disabled As soon as the map ends, they have 10 seconds of talking and using chat before the map GUI pops up. Once it pops up, voice and chat are disabled, that way everyone can vote for themselves and nobody can influence others. These two points are enormous issues. Any voting system is manipulated by opinions of other people. If someone doesn't know something and are voting, they just vote for what the other person is voting for - "what HE said." This also extends to the older players, not only the noobs. You can call this a 'bandwagon' effect, to put it simply - people vote for what the fool next to them is voting for. We've all fallen victim to this - even subconsciously your opinion is changed by seeing what the "top" map is; focusing attention on it. On the microphone issue, it also plays a big role. People start spamming "WOW LET's PLAY THIS MAP! THIS MAP! THIS MAP!". And guess what usually wins? The one they are spamming on the microphone. This leads to a system where the one with the biggest mouth on the microphone has the greatest effect on what the next map will be. The end result of all this in this context is a system where you end up playing the same 15 maps all day long. I've always wanted to see a majority-rules voting system where no one knows what the person next to them is voting for because I think the results would be surprising, none of this 'bandwagon' shit. EDIT: You can see this IRL ESPECIALLY with elections and campaigns(it couldn't be a better example). Media being the mic spammers, and friends as well as the media of these voters being their influence. Chabekak
I whole-hardheartedly agree that these mob votes lead to the same exact maps being played everyday save 3-4... Hiding who votes for what from other players and disabling voice chat once map votes start would spice up the map voting at least two fold. Fir3w411
Implementing this was a step in the right direction. I still think that the voice chat should be disabled as you still see some fools spamming it when the vote is going.
Chabekak
there are a few moderators that are famous for literrally micspamming the fuck out of it on map change.. and " that they are allowed to do so "
Fir3w411
Bumping this because a new voting system was introduced and brought us back to the same problem.
