I'm fucking stumped if these parts are going to work or not. If someone could please tell me because I don't want to save then have like fucking shit when I buy these parts.

 

I'm not actually buying Windows, I just keep forgetting to take that out anyway...

EDIT: I know it has the check mark saying "This will work" But like I don't really trust it. Also if you want to suggest other parts go ahead. Just give proper reasoning why I should use those and not the ones I have currently on the list.

For a desktop, I'd use an i7 processor over an i5 any day.

All your parts seem fine, only thing I'd change is that 970. You should go for a 1060 or 1070 because at this point a 970 just isn't worth it with these newer choices on the market. Plus the 970 still suffers from the 3.5gb + .5 GB vram issue, and really bad dx12 support, both issues can't really be fixed. Also if the soul purpose of this build is gaming that i5 is more than enough, I would only recommend an i7 if you wanted to throw video editing and like graphic intensive work into the mix, but if it's just games you want to play the i5 is a great deal. Oh and that push link isn't working (for me atleast) so can't see your case.

Just make sure that your case can hold a 240mm radiator and your atx motherboard.
