FukLife
Hey guys this morning i wake up and for some reason my comp took a huge shit on me i'm not computer smart i will admit it. It kept rebooting itself over and over again. So i said fuck it and tryed reinstall windows cause it needed a reboot anyways. Havent done it in a long time. When i reinstalled windows i fallowed the steps correctly hopfully. I put the disc in and pushed enter to reinstall windows. Then it said press "L" to delete current folder so i did that as well. The it went through the whole process and not it just comes up with a blank screen. Somtimes it comes up saying starting windows... But does not move from there at all. My friend says my harddrive went out.... i would like other opinions on it if it could be my harddrive or not. Thanks.

JhaJha
Bumping the thread every 20 minutes isn't going to help. Someone who knows what you are talking about and can help has to come online to respond to this thread.

JhaJha
Bumping a post doesn't speed up the response. Bumping a post only makes it active again if it was dormant... I never called you stupid. If you read my post properly, you would know that all I was saying is that bumping a post every 30 minutes or so will not get you a response. You will have to wait for someone who knows what about the problem to come online. While you are waiting try google or call dell or whichever company your pc was made by and ask for help. If it is possible to get on vent on the device you are on, it would be a good idea to do so. You can ask around vent for someone with knowledge about this issue. FukLife
No Jha Jha I didn't mean offence by what i said it was a sarcasmic responce lol. was basically being a smartass. Thrillhouse calm down dude don't be a douche. it was between me and Jha Jha. But anyways This computer is a custome built comp so there is not really any company. I tryed googling it also saying about my harddrive so im going to have to guess that is what it is unless i can get some more opinions. thanks for the help Jha Jha =]
Weeman
smells like bad hard drive, if you know someone who has a hard drive enclosure try hooking it up to their computer and repairing the bad sectors on the bad hard drive from there, or just get a new hard drive :-p

gotblunt
Did you delete the entire partition then repartition the drive in NTFS *not quick* ? try that before you buy a new HDD.. if it does not work..go ahead and purchase one, make sure you buy the same type.. ie: if you have an IDE drive *really wide flat connector with around.. idk.. 100-200 little pins on it* or SATA small L shaped connectors.
