Looking To Get Better At Cs:go?

Recommended Posts

Do you find stretch makes it easier to aim because the models are fatter? I played with it but got annoyed because I like to tab out from time to time or use my second screen and CS flips shit when I do that in full screen, which I why I play windowed.

I actually just found a res better btw. 1440x1080 (stretched 4:3). But It depends man. like models are wider, but mouse moves faster because there is more distance to cover. I personally enjoy the wider models since i'm an awper yes. But the wider res also means the people move across your screen faster, and if you don't have the aiming capability to hit the target at the speed it can affect gameplay.

What are the most noticable timings you need to know for pistol round rushes? Eg, the time T's are rushing through tunnels onto B for Dust 2

I don't know that kinda shit for pistol, it's pretty irrelevant cause every team does different stuff. but the cross for mid dust2 to b is 1:52 (for awpers)

What's the best way to communicate to a teams of random?

Don't be toxic, have a calm voice whenever talking. Don't argue with anyone and just focus on your game. There will always be that one teamate that rages but don't get involved in it to prevent it from being worse.

It more of a psychological question but if you have skins for weapons do you feel that you play better because you have them?

This is totally subjective and there is a very weird pseudo placebo around it. For example if you take the bowie knife or the huntsman knife, they look larger than the default knife however their attack distance is the same. Some players knife with a larger distance against their target when wielding one of the larger knives. Same goes for weapon skins. They might enhance your gameplay. They might not.

I feel like my movement is better whenever i have a karambit or m9 bayonet. But that's it.

Imo it can intimidate the enemy a bit, like I know if I saw someone with an AK with 4 Titan holo's on I'd be intimidated straight up, like in league when I played Ashe without a skin I felt weak, but with one I felt a lot better and did better, so I'd say its just psychological for the person, it helps for me however.

Also Mr Frizzy Jesus, whats your best tip for a way to practise crosshair placement and aiming for headshots? Deathmatch never works for me and the community workshop maps tend to bore me in minutes, is there one you particularly prefer that I could check out? Or any servers etc?

There aren't really servers for just crosshair placement. Crosshair placement is something you have to continuously be aware about while you play. Learning angle and stuff like that comes from playing a lot and seeing where head level is at specific spots. All in all, head level is pretty basic so keep the crosshair at that level and learn angles.

1v1 helps a lot for getting headshots, and it can help with crosshair placement too.
