Hail Hydra
Hi all, I play a lot of jail break and I need to know if there's a better way to report mass freekills and such. Currently, I hit f12 to take a steam screen shot and then I can upload that via a host but is there and easier way to do this? Thanks, Hail Hydra

the_real_shaniqua
*but you must have a compatible geforce graphics card to use shadowplay :/
blue :D
Personally I use fraps to take a screenshot, it's 1 button and its saved in a folder (which is bookmarked for me) and I just drag and drop
10acity
If you have an NVIDIA card, then you can set shadowplay to record the last X minutes whenever you press a button. This can be pretty useful because you don't want to record every minute when you play. Other than that F12 is the easiest.
Kannon
If you want to take a screenshot of the kill feed log in console type jpeg then press enter and it will take a jpeg instead of whatever one it takes and you can upload it easier. Oh and hey Hydra I miss you!
Skys
I personally use obs to record and use fraps as a SS. If you plan on using obs it may be alittle hard to set up Edited October 11, 2016 by Skys
Raptor
I use f12 to screenshot, then open each photo and export them as a png to upload.
DeathShot
Why the hell does everyone in this thread made this so difficult? Have TF2's screenshot folder open on desktop. Take screenshot through STEAM. Alt+Tab and drag the screenshot into the drag and drop feature. No need for Shadowplay, OBS, etc.
Executive Council imasonaz Posted October 11, 2016 Executive Council Share Posted October 11, 2016 Use the F12 screenshot option as mentioned, or open console and type record <name> to record a demo. If you see something to report, type stop, and it will save the demo. Upload that demo (it's like a video) as the proof. Just be sure if you do this to delete your demos every once and a while or they start taking up a lot of space.
Joe
The easiest way for me is to: make a shortcut on my desktop for both screenshots and demos Use F12 for screeshots and because i have it as a shortcut it's less hassle and easier to locate When recording demos if nothing happened during a round i type record <name> again on the next round (assuming JB) as the same name so it overwrites the current demo taking up less space When posting demo proof use the command "demoui" in console to locate the tick if the demo if it's too large
Useful Towel
I use the Windows 10 Game DVR feature -- it doesn't require a GeForce card like ShadowPlay
