Ron Burgundy Posted October 18, 2016 Share Posted October 18, 2016 (Reuters) - Intel Corp reported a better-than-expected 9.1 percent rise in quarterly revenue, helped by improving PC demand and growth in its data center and cloud businesses. The world's largest chipmaker said it expects fourth-quarter revenue to be $15.7 billion, plus or minus $500 million. Analysts on average were expecting revenue of $15.86 billion, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. Intel's shares were down 3.9 percent at $36.29 in after-hours trading on Tuesday.
