If you don't want to deal with having to run an ethernet cable, especially if your router/modem is in another room, then a wifi card might be a better option. I only find wifi being worth it over Ethernet in that type of situation but also if the wifi is running in dual band 5g mode, if it's anything lower than that I'd rather go through the hassle of running a 100 ft ethernet cord across the house. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
